How to disable an Instagram account?

Almost everyone uses social networking sites. But some people spend too much time on them. By watching the lives of other Instagram users, we often forget about ours. In some cases, it is worth taking a break and to get away from the online world for some time, as well as from Instagram.

Account deactivation allows us to do so. Instead of deleting the account, we can hide it until we log in again.

How to temporarily disable our account? There is no such option in the Instagram application, so we have to:

  1. Log in to Instagram at this address.
  2. Enter the reason for disabling the account.
  3. Re-enter the password.
  4. Click the Temporarily Disable Account button.

After submitting the form, your photos, comments and likes will be hidden until you log back into the portal. This is a good alternative to account deletion, but remember that you can use it only once a week.
